I just came from thee most wonderful Roman Catholic Mass! I had some very powerful 'revelations'. I'm not going to talk about the very powerful crush I got on the younger priest... I guess it's chemistry & he has some electrons that I might need for balance. Not a lusty thing. Well not strictly lusty, Just Kidding!
Anyways... I saw the way Christs hands are risen up on the cross & I saw the way Mary's hands are down. This symbolism is the key. The upward hands, or the upwards pointing triangle is the masculine, the downward pointing triangle is the feminine & where we put our hands together(in prayer at heart center) is where they -merge- This is where the Christ-child will be born. Who does not want to hold & love a newborn babe? Such humble beginnings did the Little Lord have. (Did humanity itself have) Born in a barn with animal friends. Animals who were the first sacrifice giving their lives, their skin, their wool, to sustain us.
A baby, born of a Virgin. This means that when Adam & Eve, the human origins, the prototypes were intimate they bore sons who fought. Perhaps Eve felt shame apon losing her Virginity. But Mary, did not carry the shame. She may have been a virgin by nature, not literally. Her child came into the world & Layed in the trough, because no one wanted the burden to deal with a childbirth in the Inn's. The Buddha was the opposite, born into wealth. The story of the Christ is a woven story. It has Many Dimensions. It is symbolic & significant even if many of the tales were taken from celestial origins or pagan holidays.
It's about Peace. Peace that surpasses dogma. Peace that unites & weaves human beings together. Closer. Connecting the (missing years) the (missing links)... I know that we are coming into maturity as a species. We are all able to access the information. These rites, rituals, ARE Sacred. The rosary... (mala beads), the incense was used long before the Catholic Church. Native people's have always instinctively used it as a smudge.
It's BEA-utiful is all I can say. I am okay with all of it. I AM at Peace. I AM with the Beloved. We Are One in Love & this Earth is a ship floating in a Galax-Sea. Let us not sink our ship. I'll leave you with the words of the Astronauts, "Houston, you've got yourself a new pump module." What we have is a new story, one that blends mathematics, science & spirituality. One that is inclusive. One that accepts diversity & see's commonality rather than difference! God is GOOD. Is LOVE.
"Pope Francis urged members of (All Religions) & those belonging to (no church) to to Defend Justice, Peace AND The Environment ... Francis, the first non-European pope in 1,300 years, met leaders of non-Catholic Christian religions such as Orthodox, Anglicans, Lutherans & Methodists, as well as Jews, Muslims, Buddhists & Hindus. Pope prays for the 'One Human Family' desired by Christ" (Vatican City, March 20th 2013)
"Pope Francis could bring the church into a new relationship with its critics and dissidents--agreeing to disagree about issues that divide them while cooperating in the urgent mission of spreading mercy--he might unleash untold good. "Argue less, accomplish more" could be a healing motto for our times. We have many problems to tackle."
"Pope Francis,TIME's person of the year says: "Who am I to judge?" when asked about homo sexuality. He says he wants to diminish the primacy of the all-male priesthood, arguing that just because they monopolize the sacraments does not mean their gender should be the Only One Empowered in the church. He is saying women have a Great Role in the church & in society."
'The religious geniuses of all ages have been distinguished by a kind of (Religious FEELING) which knows -no dogma-so that there can be -no church- whose central teachings are based on it. Hence it is 'precisely among the (heretics) of every age' that we find men who were -filled with this Highest kind of Religious Feeling- & are in many cases regarded by their contemporaries as atheists, sometimes also as saints. Looked at in this light, men like Democritus, Francis of Assisi, & Spinoza are closely akin to one another.' -Albert Einstein
