Are Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes on the verge of breaking up?
After two years together, they have hit the skids, and it's all because she's jealous. Well, it's mostly because of that. According to a source close to them:
"He can be moody at times, and she's insecure[Eva Mendes] sees a text from a mystery number and automatically assumes he's talking to other girls."
An insider reveals that the duo broke up briefly six months ago.
They patched things up, but the relationship has remained rocky ever since, as the actress, 39, no longer gushes about the heart throb, 32, like she used to.
Now, "she shuts down anyone who brings up Ryan," says a friend.
"It's clear something is wrong."

Though a rep for Mendes denies any trouble in paradise, the Gosling source believes the end is near: "I wouldn't be surprised if they split for good soon."
