Thankful For Blogger Friends TAG

Image taken from

To start the New Year off I thought I would take part in the Thankful for Blogger Friends tag and therefore my first tag post of 2014!

I really like this tag as it'll help you guys find out some more about me and due to that I hope you really enjoy this post!

I love taking part in tag posts and although I wasn't tagged in this one, I will be tagging specific people at the end of this post, as well as anyone who reads it, as I feel everyone should be able to take part, as tags are amazing!

So without further ado, let's get on with the tag!

BLOGGING AND I:

1. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN BLOGGING?

I've been blogging on this blog since January 2012, so my blog is 2 years old! I can't believe my blog is that old now, it's really flown by!

2. ARE THERE ANY BLOGGERS WHO HELPED YOU OUT/ENCOURAGED YOU WHEN YOU FIRST STARTED YOUR BLOG?

Definitely! My friend Poppy over at is of course a blogger and when we first met in April 2012 we spoke about how we were both bloggers and as she is amazing with beauty she gave me loads of hints and tips of what to do with my blog which helped out a lot. As well as that she gave me loads of encouragement to keep going with my blog when I worried that I sounded stupid, or was wasting my time doing something I wasn't any good at. Over the year and a bit I have known her she's been such a great friend in general as well as with my blog and it helped me so much! So thank you Poppy, love you hun!

3. WHAT SOCIAL MEDIA HAS GIVEN YOU THE MOST TRAFFIC TO YOUR BLOG? IS THERE A PLATFORM THAT YOU DON'T USE?

I use Twitter the most to advertise my blogs as well as talk with fellow bloggers, which is great! I'd say Twitter is the one that gainsme the most traffic too. I suppose the only platform I don't use is anything Google related, as of course my blog is hosted here on WordPress, not Blogger/Blog Spot.

4. HOW OFTEN DO YOU POST? DO YOU HAVE A REGULAR SCHEDULE?

I post every other day and always the first three days at the start of a month due to my monthly posts. I like to think I have a regular schedule and will sit down and write-up to 5 posts in 12 or less hours. I just sit in my bed and write, write, WRITE! I have had a bit of a break since New Years Eve so that was nice but I actually hate having breaks from my writingUnless I'm busy and I need it.

5. WHERE DO YOU BLOG?

I usually sit in my bed and write as I don't have a desk in my room to sit at to write and the office in my home is bloody freezing, even though the internet in there is a hell of a lot better! When I'm at my boyfriends I'll either sit in his room in bed and blog or downstairs whilst watching TV. FYI I rarely sit downstairs in my house as I like to be on my own, so my bedroom is always my place of choice.

6. WHAT CAMERA DO YOU USE? WHAT PHOTO EDITING SOFTWARE DO YOU USE?

I use my Nikon D5100 digital SLR camera for my photographs. Sometimes pictures from my iPhone will be on here. I used to use my old Fujifilm digital camera but then I got my Nikon. My boyfriend usually edits my photographs for me as I don't have Photoshop on my laptop at the moment. He uses Snapseed, which is a free app that you can download from the App Store and I assume from Androids store too! It's a great app and easy to use for editing photographs on, but as he's better with this app than I am, I ask him to edit my photographs.

7. HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH YOUR BLOG NAME?

As old blog readers will have known my blog used to be called BrokenProphetBlog but I realised this name wasn't ideal and I decided on ThereMightBeCoffee for many reasons. This is actually the name of one of Deadmau5 s songs, which in turn is one of my favourite songs, ever! I love coffee and as I work in a coffee shop it seems ideal already, but the name of it just reminds me of days at my Gran's house from when I was younger. My family and I would go to visit her and sit down drinking cups of tea and coffee whilst we discussed various things that had been going on with us all. Of course as a blogger I am here to review, talk about, discuss, network, etc with people and it just reminded me of those times when I was younger. I for one LOVE my blog name and I think it fits really well.

8. DO YOU DO ANY REGULAR "SERIES" POSTS ON YOUR BLOG?

I always make sure to do my monthly posts which include favourites, empties and a wish list. Sometimes I will do mini series on my blog depending, the last one I did (from memory!) was one where I posted a MAC lipstick review once a week over a month. Due to my spending ban I'll be doing some series posts at the moment, which will probably start in February now whilst I decided which products will be mentioned in said posts etc. As well as that I'll be having a Soap)"> Apart from that my favourite blogs are usually lifestyle related ones as I mentioned earlier, I am a nosy sod. As well as that outfit posts as I love seeing what styles people are rocking.

SOME FACTS ABOUT ME:

1. WHERE DO YOU LIVE? TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOUR CITY!

I live in Birmingham! I was born here and yes, that makes me a Brummie and apparently we have been voted the most stupid sounding accent. This doesn't annoy me at allPlus most of my friends, including my boyfriend either don't have Birmingham accents or aren't from Birmingham so everyone takes the piss out of how I soundIt's rather annoying to say the least but I have to see the funny side of it I guess. Okay so a bit about my city! Birmingham is the second biggest city in the UK and is home to a lot of famous people and bands including Black Sabbath, UB40, Cat Deeley, Richard Hammond, Felicity Jones, Frank Skinner and many more!

2. WHAT ABOUT YOUR HOME?

The thing about my home is that I pretty much lodge in my room and use the bathroom and kitchen whenever! I rarely sit downstairs in the living room for reasons I won't mention here. I really want to move out for yet more reasons I won't be mentioning here and I hope and pray to God that I can do just that this year, as I don't know if I can live at home for another year!

3. SINGLE OR TAKEN?

I am taken and very, VERY happy! A couple of days ago my boyfriend and I celebrated (well not celebrated but mentioned to each other via FaceTime) that we are now 7 months into our relationship, which is lovely! I'm very happy at this moment in time due to reasons I shall be explaining on a blog post very soon.

4. DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN?

No I do not, I don't intend to have any for a while yet!

5. DO YOU HAVE PETS?

Sadly not, although when I move out I would love a dog! I'm thinking an apricot poodle.

6. DO YOU HAVE A "DAY JOB"?

I do indeed, I work as a barista in a coffee shop. It's not my dream job, but it pays the billsSort of.

7. HOW TALL ARE YOU?

I'm 5'6 and I've only just of late come to like my height, after years of wishing I could be taller.

8. DO YOU HAVE SIBLINGS?

I have two older brothers, one who I don't really talk to so much anymore.

9. 3 WORDS TO DESCRIBE YOURSELF.

Mmm I dunnoUnderstanding, honest and trustworthy.

10. WHO IS YOUR STYLE ICON, AND WHY?

I don't really have a style icon to be honest. I look at fashion blogs and on LOOKBOOK for grunge related styles that people rock. If anything I like the way Fearne Cotton dresses but I wouldn't say she was my style icon. If I like the way something looks and think it'll work with this item, that item, etc then I'll buy it and do just that.

11. 3 FAVORITE BANDS OR MUSICIANS.

Evanescence, The Pretty Reckless and Flyleaf. Never did I think I'd see the day when the top three bands I would list were all fronted by females!

12. 3 FAVORITE MOVIES

Spirited Away, I can't pick one so all the Jackass Movies, including Bad Grandpa and Shaun of The Dead. I would talk about these here but I would be here all day! Basically I love Jackass so of course their movies are going to be one of my favourites! Shaun of The Dead reminds me of my best friend and I from when it first came out. She introduced me to it and I fell in love! It always reminds me of her and we've both agreed that she will keep me in her shed if I'm ever infected by zombies. Finally Spirited Away, which is most likely my favourite film to date. I love Studio Ghibli and I remember the first time I watched Spirited Away I fell in love with the animation. It looked so different to any anime I'd ever watched before and the story was so beautiful. Spirited Away has inspired many of my stories, especially whilst I was at University where I studied Creative Writing. I think I'll be watching this film soon.

13. 3 FAVORITE BOOKS.

The Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella, Nana manga (manga counts!) and The Carrie Diaries series by Candace Bushnell. I got into the Shopaholic series back in 2010 in my final year of University. There was a local PDSA charity shop down the road from me and I popped in to see if they had any decent books for sale, they had three of the Shopaholic books so I snapped them up straight away and ventured to Amazon to buy the rest! I read them within a couple of months and I wish Sophie Kinsella would write more for his series. This being said I love ALL her books and I'm currently reading I've Got Your Number. The Carrie Diaries is based on a younger version of Carrie Bradshaw. Like most women, I love Sex & The City the series, but I HATE the book. It's boring, over the top and just not to my tastes, however The Carries Diaries books are wonderful and I also love the series for it too. Finally Nana, which isn't a book but a manga. If you don't know what manga is, it's a Japanese comic that you read backwards. I've only finished one manga, that being Elfen Lied and I can tell you, it was amazing! But at this moment in time I'm currently reading Nana. I'll be talking more aboutmanga and anime in a post soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

14. 3 RANDOM/WEIRD FACTS ABOUT YOU.

1. I have a food fear. This probably sounds extremely stupid, but is infact true. I don't know when this started but I've had it for as long as I can remember and due to it I can't eat a lot of food, mostly healthy food which is frustrating. There are certain foods that make me cringe to look at and only recently in the past couple of years have I been able to even sit with someone and watch them eat these foods. One of these foods is beans. The sight of them creepsme out and when people sit in baths of them for charity, it really does make me cringe! Food fear is really quite odd and you often get told to, "Man up!" if you ever mention to anyone about it.

2. I'm ambidextrous. I write right-handed, but I do a lot of other things with my left hand such as playing my bass. It's rather odd being ambidextrous and you often get weird looks for it when one minute you'll be using your right hand and the next your left. Sometimes I can do things with both my hands, such as pouring things. It's probably nothing special, but it's random.

3. I cook an amazing macaroni cheese pasta bake! My boyfriend and I love it and I often cook up a huge portion to feed 4 people, so we'll have 2 pieces (one each) and have the other 2 (one each again) the next day for breakfast or lunch. We have it with garlic bread and I mix in applewood cheese and turkey ham into the pasta bake to give it a lovely smokey taste.

WOW that tag was long! I actually wondered when it was going to end! Either way I really enjoyed taking part in this tag and I want to thank Charlotte over at , go and check out her blog as she's wonderful.

I want to tag EVERYONE to take part in this tag, especially my friends Amy over at and my lovely friend Poppy over at to take part in this tag too.

I hope you've enjoyed this post as I've actually really enjoyed writing it up!

Please let me know if you take part in it as I'd love to read what you put.

Until next time, take care all!
