How are things with the Holliedollie quilt?
Prima! De quilt is bijna helemaal doorgequilt en afgelopen weekend heb ik, bij Mams, de afwerkbies al aan de top gezet (ik doe dit niet graag met de hand dus heb ik Mams haar naaimachine gebruikt. Ik weet het, de afwerkbies moet er pas helemaal op het laatst aan, maar omdat ik de quilt goed had doorgeregen kon er eigenlijk niet veel fout gaan en heb ik de bies er toch al aangezet).
Fine! The quilt is almost quilted and when at Mams' this weekend, I added the binding to the top of the quilt (I don't like doing this by hand, so I used Mams' sewing machine. I know, the binding should be added at the end of the process, but because I basted tightly, there's no harm in binding it now).
Binnenkort, na 9 jaar, zal deze quilt eindelijk een AFFO zijn!

Soon, after about 9 years, this quilt will be an AFFO (A Finaly Finished Object)!
