After a brief hiatus last year, the Italian international festival Cartoons on the Bay will be returning for its 17th edition on April 10-12, at Venice. The festival was established in 1995 by Gianpaolo Sodano, and is intended to celebrate television animation and cross-media.
Cartoons on the Bay is organized by RAI Publishing, and will be promoting the activities of writers and producers from all over the globe, giving them a place to meet with each other, as well as buyers, distributors, and TV producers.
This year's edition will be held at the prestigious and fashionable location of Palazzo Labia, and in addition to the Pulcinella Awards, will include panel discussions, meetings, retrospectives and previews.
