DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES First Image. My Description Of The Teaser

20th Century Fox had its big Hall H Comic-Con 2013 panel for DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES today attended by Matt Reeves, and stars Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, and Andy Serkis.

And studio has unleashed this first image above which was actually part of the scene in the teaser screened today for Hall H audience.

The teaser was very brief but full of apocalyptic imagery, Gary Oldman's voice speaking a full speech rallying the humans, apparently the humans were not only fighting the apes but also each other, he wanted to rally them together to take back their world.

Jason Clarke's character showed up in the end and demanded loudly to have a word with Caesar the ape. And then a shot of the image above of Caesar ordering his army to charge.

The details on the apes this time around are even more mindblowing, those WETA wizards are geniuses, I tell ya.

20th Century Fox's Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes sequel, DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES has officially started, once again starring Andy Serkis in mo-cap as Caesar the talking ape leader.

Also starring Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Enrique Murciano, Kirk Acevedo, Judy Greer, Jocko Sims, directed by Matt Reeves. And WETA wizards are back in business as well, to give us realistic emotionally engaging apes once more

Composer Michael Giacchino provides the score.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES opens Memorial Day weekend, May 23, 2014.
