'Hart of Dixie' season 3: Jaime King shows off pregnancy bump in bikini

Mrs. Carter: While we wait to see what happens with Lemon, the progression of Jaime King's pregnancy continues.



Earlier this year, the "" actress confirmed that she and her husband Kyle Newman were expecting their first child together, and that the baby was due a little later this year. While they have kept most pictures of her growing pregnancy bump under wraps, that seems to be changing now.




In a new post on her page, King first showed a picture of herself, sporting a bikini that really gives you a full-on view of just how far along she is in her pregnancy. She also captioned the image with "backyard Summer with baby and father."



While this photo is drawing plenty of attention across the internet right now, there are still some questions about what exactly is going to transpire with King's character of Lemon Breeland on her CW show. Producers have been coy talking about her pregnancy, and whether or not Lemon will be expecting, as well. If not, she will probably just wear loose-fitting clothing and the pregnancy will be edited out thanks to some sharp camera angles.



As to how producers will write Lemon out of "Hart of Dixie" during Jaime's maternity leave, the possibilities are pretty endless:



1. She goes on some sort of jet-setting visit around the world to learn more about her surroundings.



2. She decides to go to culinary school in another town to work on her catering business.



3. She joins the circus (okay, pretty unlikely).



No matter what she chooses, producers will find an innovative way to give her some time off, and King will likely be back in action once again when "Hart of Dixie" returns for the second part of the season later in the spring. The story line we wonder the most about is that she owns half of the Rammer Jammer with Wade and with a flourishing business it will be difficult to really buy into Lemon leaving her business and Wade behind since her partner is fairly unpredictable and she may come back to the Rammer Jammer being some sort of gentleman's club.
