I ve recently started to read a comic series called HACK / SLASH. Its a story about Cassie, a girl who has survived a serial killer and decides to kill killers, slashers. With the help of his monster friend Vlad, he kills mean and ruthless supernatural (or mundane) killers one after another.
What makes this special is the friendship between the main characters, the insane black humor and the outrageous gore inflicted on slasher victims. Also the stories are really fast and escapistic and thats what makes this a perfect read for any horror fan.
There are also quite nice crossovers with CHUCKY, RE-ANIMATOR and ASH from ARMY OF DARKNESS is also going to meet these two! Im waiting for crossovers with other horror icons like FREDDY and JASON. Maybe in the future!!!
Hopefully theres going to be a TV-series.... :-)
