The Friends of Taconic State Park Fifth Annual Meeting and Potluck Supper is Thursday, July 25th at 6 PM at the Copake Iron Works in Copake Falls.We are honored to be hosting the Mt. Washington Project's exhibit entitled "The Black Art, Information and Imaginings about the Earliest Industry in Mount Washington, Massachusetts - The Manufacture of Charcoal."We will also introduce our new Park Manager, Christopher Rickard, who has filled some very big shoes very quickly.Everybody is invited to join us as we celebrate a wonderful year of milestones, including the completion of the protective cover over the furnace and the stabilization of its brick arches.
