C32Tokurei Sochi Dantai Stella Jo-Gakuin Koutou-ka C3-Bu Ep2 Review

This is a 2013 Summer special review. View prefix review titles.

The second episode finished off with the prologue of C3 Bu 6 girls formation with each of the girls being experts of their own guns.

Yura was hesitating whether to join the club as she was doubtful of her own abilities in benefiting the club. She mentioned that she didn't dislike the club and that wasn't a reason she was hestitating. Yura soon found out that her room mate Sonora was actually - captain of C3 bu of stella school.

Sonora ate Yura's onigiri and felt that she is a perfect marksman off the bat, as Sonora was once trained to make onigiri with the perfect texture in strength control and Yura was doing perfectly even without a master training her. Sonora kept them to herself without telling Yura her potential. She didn't force Yura to join the club either, knowing that Yura wasn't confident of herself.

The rest of C3 Bu members tried to pull Yura into the team and was scaring her all over - ending up with the restroom to finish her lunch peacefully (Poorthing).

The members challenged Yura and Sonora in a gun match to decide the fate of Yura and Sonora raised the stakes when she was confident that Yura was able to win with her guidance provided. She offered to participate without a gun, depending on Yura and her own wits instead.

Yura and Sonora undergoes chase while completing escape mission and they managed to clear all the 4 members whom were obstructing their routes.

Yura no longer needs to join the club as she won - yet her concious reacts differently after that battle - She wants to join the club.

That OP is growing on me, with the plot getting over with it's prologue of the club. Now we have the six shooters, heading for the real games and most likely we will be able to see the new characters in the next few episodes. The characters of C3 bu looks steady and awesome that fits the genre pretty well, yet not overwhelming. They have their unique characteristics being presented in the first two episodes, which adds on to their value of significance in the series.

Despite being a special review for the season, I am starting to get addicted to the series - have been digging some of the prior works to the animation and I would say it is pack with potential for a short animation? It will work out somehow. Thus this title may be a seen on the blog for the couple of weeks ahead if possible!

The relationship between Yura and Sonora appears like a guidance and newbie knot which worked well, close but not clichat this point of time. Other character bonds are slightly bland this time round compared to that, thus ranking the characters importance right away.

The plot haven't forgotten about humour when the plot moves into the main plot route, we still see some good comedy shots within. They are more of lightweight jokes that suits the series's seriousness - Quite enjoyable. The second episode gave us two different parts with the encounter of Sonora and the shooting game after - It felt balanced and well distributed in terms of character involvement. It was a worthy 24 minutes spent.

That ED is also fascinating for the plot genre, cheerful and relaxing to end off the episode - Overall speaking, everything about the episode seems positive.
