First Clip From Atlantis Has Completely Flipped My Conception Of The Show

Now, I really, really wasn't expecting this.



I thought Atlantis was a period piece, not some undersea fantasy, but




Is this clip showing what I think it is? It seems to cut right against all of the clips, posters and images I've seen so far.



And if this show does take place in a lost Atlantiswell, the questions are piling up already. Why aren't they swimming down there? Do they know about the world up above? Why do they seem to be characters from mythology? Will the show cross back and forth between the two "worlds"?



I guess the next clues will come when the show premieres on BBC One next Saturday night.
