Zelda Wii U Bundle Accidentally Revealed

ZELDA WII U BUNDLE ACCIDENTALLY REVEALED

Fans of ZELDA that have put off buying a WII U may be interested in a new bundle that will be released in conjunction with the new LEGEND OF ZELDA: WIND WAKER HD remake that is coming this October 4th. The news of the bundle was accidentally revealed during a video demonstration of the remake's Hero Mode and an image of a Zelda-themed WII U was shown (seen in the image below).

The video has been pulled down since then but you can still view it on DailyMotion .

News of such a bundle was revealed by , when they were informed by a source from TARGET, the North American retail store. The bundle would include a 32GB Deluxe version of the console and, of course, a copy of THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: WIND WAKER HD.

For those unfamiliar with the remake, the game boasts completely remodeled textures, new gameplay elements that tie in the Wii U tablet, a completely new mode, Hero Mode, as mentioned above and possibly more features to be announced before the game is release this October. Personally, I feel like the art style they went with Wind Waker in the original Gamecube release is timeless and still holds up to this day. However, with opportunity to play on a new console and new features, the remake could attract new fans to the Zelda series.

Hopefully this bundle will help with the poor sales that the WII U has been experiencing thus far. It proves to be quite an attractive deal since it'll include the deluxe console (which is already retailed at $349.99) and a copy of the game (which will most likely retail at $60).
